Through-the-Body Color

Brickox® manganese dioxide is used by heavy clay manufactures to add brown through the body color to red or buff burning ceramic body. Brickox® is a naturally occurring manganese dioxide that is available in several particle sizes.

Slurry Grade Brickox® is a suspendible form of Brickox® manganese dioxide. “Just add Water” to these natural products to develop a stable slurry for liquid dosing of through the body coloring of  red or buff burning ceramic body. 

BrickMax ™ manganese oxide is a synthetic manganese oxide used primarily in residential structural clay applications as a through the body brown-yellow color.

Chromox® iron chromite is used by heavy clay manufacturers to color buff color ceramic bodies to a cool gray color or in high iron bodies to develop a gray-brown color.

Slurry Grade Chromox® iron chromite is a suspendible form of Chromox™. “Just at Water” to these natural products to develop a stable slurry for liquid dosing of through the body coloring of red or buff burning bodies.

Red and Black Iron Oxides are used by heavy clay manufacturers to enhance red tones when added to red and buff burning ceramic bodies.
